Lasik Eye Surgery
Laser In-Situ Keratomileusis (LASIK) is an eye refractive surgery in which a laser beam (excimer laser) is used to correct the vision of patients suffering from refractive errors. The laser is applied underneath a corneal flap (in situ), which reshapes the cornea (keratomileusis) and converges the light on the retina by the cornea so that a clear image is formed on the retina.
